Public health should not be limited to just a few.

If public health is to be spread world-wide we must not limit the sharing of our knowledge to only those with whom we have direct contact. In other words, for public health to be sucessful, we must not only "teach others how to fish", we must "teach others how to teach others how to fish".

Public Health International sends volunteers into third world countries not only to teach basic public health principles but also to set up local training programs. In this way, indigenous populations can continue to train others in their and near-by communities. Practicing basic public health principles contributes to the eradication of disease and to help every person live the healthiest life possible.
